Gan Birthday Party II

For the last two weeks, four parents (including myself) have been communicating and shopping towards the birthday party of these four children, tomorrow at Gan.

To clarify, the four parents who have dedicated their free time to making this celebration memorable and joyful are the MOTHERS.  Three of these four mothers (including myself)  hold full time jobs, and as far as I know, the fathers are satisfied that we women have got it covered.  The fathers will certainly show up with their video cameras and their smiles and take partial credit for the party, since they helped bring their five year old into the world.

For all the so-called progress women have made in the twenty-first century, we have a long way to go, baby.

Just saying.

Perhaps the fathers are serving in the army during this time. Perhaps some of the fathers have elderly parents who they shop for and the mothers are stepping up for them. Perhaps the fathers work until later until 9-10 PM while the mothers while they work, work fewer hours and have time. Perhaps the mothers are doing the planning and the fathers are doing all the shopping. Perhaps, the mothers really enjoy planning birthday parties while the fathers do not. "The fathers will certainly show up with their video cameras and their smiles and take partial credit for the party, since they helped bring their five year old into the world" is not becoming since you do not know what is going on in their lives.

True, I don't know what happens inside each person's home, the family dynamic. My greater point is that since the Feminist Revolution, women have only become more enslaved. Instead of holding down one full time job IE Housewife and full-time mother, they now juggle that responsibility with a full-time job in the real world, for which they get paid less than men. Israel, which claims to be so evolved in their treatment of women, are just as guilty. So I stand by my words, the fathers were more than happy to let the women arrange the whole thing, because society says that women must multi-task until their brains explode, while men get a free pass because they "bring home the bacon."

my point is that perhaps the fathers did more than you realize. Imagine coordinating with 6 people -- mothers + 3 fathers instead of just 3.
