Some Things Solve Themselves
The really awful assistant nursery teacher quit yesterday, before she could get fired due to the parents' demands.
Maybe, but I would still be concerned about the judgement of the head teacher who hired her, and then after she saw her in action, did nothing to get rid of her.

The head teacher did not do "nothing," but wanted to give her more than one week to adapt to the new environment.
